Google Cloud Next ‘25: AI-powered Marketing – Google Cloud & Startup Secrets

This year we had the honor to partecipate to the Google Cloud Next ’25 in Las Vegas, where our General Manager Tommaso Vaccarella spoke at the session “AI-powered Marketing – Google Cloud & Startup Secrets.” The conversation brought together startup leaders who are redefining what’s possible in modern marketing, and how AI is powering this evolution.

Tommaso shared how Connected-Stories is helping brands not only integrate AI into their workflows, but truly shift the way content is managed, from fragmented and reactive, to agile, data-driven, and continuously optimized.

What we’re seeing is not just a technological evolution, it’s a management shift. For the first time, marketing and creative teams can approach content creation with generative AI applied end-to-end, across the full content production chain. This isn’t about using AI for isolated tasks or one-off experiments. It’s about embedding it deeply into how teams work, collaborate, and execute every stage of the creative process.

During the session, Tommaso also addressed some of the core challenges that content teams face when working with generative AI. From the pressure to produce more content without losing impact, to fragmented workflows that slow execution, to the difficulty of scaling personalization without adding complexity, many teams still struggle to turn AI into true performance. Static tools and traditional models simply weren’t built for today’s pace of change. What’s needed is a new foundation, one that’s dynamic, flexible, and powered by real-time intelligence.

Tommaso emphasized that while AI is powerful, it’s not a replacement for people. In his words:

“The future of marketing will be shaped by teams who spend less time on manual execution, and more time on strategy, storytelling, and optimizing the impact of their content.”

He added that the real challenge is not whether AI can create, but how humans can guide that creation with intention. According to him, humans remain essential in making AI truly effective,because only they can strike the right balance between scalability and creative perfection. And that balance is where real impact lives.
